Because of the Love a Book Project, children and youth in the St. Louis area have been able to pick a book of their choice for the third year. This could be the first book of their library.
With a grant from the St. Louis Mental Health Board, the YCPD went to facilities to read to children. The goal of Love a Book is just that –to get kids to love a book and start a lifelong love for reading.
