Three other Visionaries congratulate Jonathan on his award. Left to right are Rasheen Aldridge (2013), Jonathan Pulphus. Jessica Burns (2008) and Jonathan Long (2011).

Jonathan Pulphus has been selected as the 2014 Jamala Rogers Young Visionary. The selection committee was impressed by Jonathan’s activism that pre-dated his splash onto campus as a freshman at Saint Louis University. Jonathan is involved in making change on the campus through a variety of organizations as well as off campus, such as in the Justice for Mike Brown work. He is a co-founder of Tribe X, one of several organizations which have been on the ground in Ferguson engaging in non-violent protests and fighting for the demands to make police and the courts more accountable and more humane. Jonathan has demonstrated that he’s “not afraid to do unpopular work.”
