Paula Cooper–a second chance?

This is a case the Youth Council worked on back in the late 1980’s. We’re glad that we were part of the campaign that stopped her execution and that she seems to have turned her life around. We wish her the best of life and hopes she continues to be a productive citizen.

Paula Cooper was only 15 years old when she and three other teens committed a horrible murder. She was convicted and sentenced, making her the youngest person on death row in U.S. history. She awaits release after serving 25 years.
